Educational Qualification
- For Senior Resident (for Tenure of Three Years Subject for Renewal/Extension Every Year): PG Degree or Diploma in Concerned speciality from Recognized university. The candidate should have valid MCI registration .
- For Senior Resident vacant post of General Duty Medical Officers for One Year: PG Degree /DNB/ Diploma in Concerned speciality from Recognized university.
- For Junior Resident (1 Year Residency Scheme): MBBS from Recognized university should be registered with MCI.

Emoluments
- For Senior Resident (for Tenure of Three Years Subject for Renewal/Extension Every Year): Basic pay Rs. 67,700/- (Level 11)+ NPA (pre-revised)+ other allowances as admissible under the rules per month.
- For Senior Resident vacant post of General Duty Medical Officers for One Year: Rs. 1,01,000/- pm
- For Junior Resident (1 Year Residency Scheme): Rs. 21,000/- (Basic Pay Rs. 15,600+ Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-)+ NPA + other allowances as admissible under the rules per month.
